Born in Mumbai, Shipa did her studies with Psychology subject but she failed to graduate. His father’s name is Dr. Satyadeo Shinde and mother’s name is Geeta Satyadeo Shinde. He also has two elder sisters and a younger brother.
Shilpa started her acting career in 1998 with the Tv Series “ CID ”. In 2001, she acted as ‘Amrita’ in the Tv Series “ Kabhi Aaye Na Judaai ”. In 2003, she has also appeared as ‘Manju Chatterjee’ in the Tv Series ” Bhabhi “. She was also the winner of Bigg Boss 11 in 2011.
In 2015, she appeared in Zee5’s TV series “ Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai! Starred as ‘Angoori Manmohan Tiwari’. She was highly appreciated for this role but due to personal reasons she left this character and later Shubhangi Atre played the role of ‘Angoori Bhabhi’. On 5 February 2019, Shilpa Shinde joined the Indian National Congress Party.
